If you purchased or acquired American Electric Power Company, Inc. common stock registered with the Commission and traded under the symbol AEP (the “Security”) during the period from January 1, 2018, through June 7, 2021, inclusive (the “Relevant Period”), you may be entitled to a Distribution Payment from the American Electric Power Fair Fund.
Background:
The American Electric Power Fair Fund (the “Fair Fund”) has been established to provide distributions to eligible investors. The Fair Fund is intended to benefit individuals and entities, or their lawful successors, who purchased or otherwise acquired American Electric Power Company, Inc. common stock registered with the Commission and traded under the symbol AEP during the period from January 1, 2018, through June 7, 2021, inclusive (the “Relevant Period”).
To be considered for eligibility to receive a Distribution Payment from the Fair Fund, potential claimants must submit a completed Claim Form together with the required supporting documentation. All claims must be submitted so that they are postmarked (or, if not sent by U.S. Mail, received) by November 23, 2026 (the “Claims Bar Date”). If you submit the Claim Form online, it must be received by 11:59 P.M. PST on November 23, 2026. Claims that are not submitted by this deadline will not be considered.
